What other schools did you consider, and what caused you to choose Xavier?
I considered Duquesne, University of Dayton, Miami of Ohio, and Wooster. I decided to pick Xavier in the end because of the scholarship money I was awarded and the overall feel of the campus.
Describe Xavier:
Xavier is a small Jesuit division one school (4,000 undergrad) that has a small school feel with many of the opportunities seen at larger universities. The education is based on the Jesuit values to question and explore subjects without accepting answers as absolute just because the professor says so.
Describe your college experience in general:
The Fall semester was always busy because of soccer season and class schedules. The Spring semester was always less intense and allowed for more time to be social. My classes were not always of total interest to me, but all of them were well taught and fit with the mission of the school. I loved my college experience not only because of the fun times but because I feel that the experiences prepared me for my current and future career endeavors.
